The Australian Film Commission reports that Aussie films earned $41.8 million at the box office last year, representing 4.9 per cent of the total Australian movie market. “The figure is down on both 2001 and 2000 figures, which came in at $63.4 million (7.8 per cent) and $54.2 million (7.9 per cent) respectively.”
