The cellist-pianist couple, artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, are the first joint winners of the award. Other honorees include Meredith Monk (Composer of the Year), Jaap van Zweden (Conductor), Gil Shaham (Instrumentalist) and Jonas Kaufmann (Vocalist).
